Born in 1990, Inès Loizillon grew up and lives in Paris.
After studying literature, she joined the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) for a master's degree in boredom and snobbery. During the same period, she made a few self-produced short films: Igloo, broadcast on the Arte Creative website and Sleep yourself, in super 8, with Alice de Lencquesaing and Théo Cholbi. As well as Tout dégringole, with Agathe Bonitzer and Garance Mazureck, screened at the Center Pompidou (carte blanche by Serge Bozon).
In 2015, she wrote and directed her first produced film, Kiss Me Not (the G.R.E.C). In 2017, she shot Cape Cod produced by Aurora films, broadcast on France 2. As well as Rodéo, a Minute Lumière for the GREC collection, shot the same year.
In the summer of 2017, she co-directed All the Boys (Les Films de La Chapelle) with Alice de Lencquesaing. In 2019, she directed Armstrong, for the 50th anniversary of GREC in partnership with France2. In September 2021, she finished her short film entitled Tifs, produced by Vertical production and pre-purchased by France 2.
